Gregory L. Jones was a humanitarian who was committed to helping others. Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois and the firstborn of my two children, he had a heart as big as the circumference of the earth and everyone he encountered shared a piece of it.
Gregory was a very unique, loving, and kindhearted individual. He had the kind of love that others desired to have. He was devoted to his family and friends. Gregory loved people. If there was someone in need, Gregory was there.
The energy, zeal, and leadership qualities he exhibited foreshadowed his future. He discovered that he had many talents to explore. He was second to none. His brilliant style, his love for mankind made him stand out in a crowd, but his life suddenly took an unexpected turn. Helping others was the pride and joy of his life. This book is designed to continue the work Gregory lived for. He always wanted to make a difference in someone’s life.
As a lasting tribute to Gregory, this book is written in his honor. Gregory has been such an inspiration to me, as well as to thousands of others and writing this book has inspired me all the more. In fact, the Lord used this book to help me get through my grief, and many of my unanswered questions about Gregory have been answered in the process. Only a mother who has lost her only son she was very close to, could possibly understand what I am going through, but thanks be to God who gives me the victory.
